We'll now explore how to utilize the Sort filter values configuration option to organize data either in ascending or descending order, as well as how to sort by a chosen metric.

Sort Filter Values¶
The Sort filter values option is accessible for various Filter Types: Value, Time Range, Time Column, and Time Grain.
This option empowers you to arrange values within the filter's column either in ascending or descending order. Additionally, you can opt to sort by an available metric from the dataset.
To employ this functionality, simply select Sort filter values and specify whether the values should be sorted in ascending or descending order. Moreover, you have the option to sort by a metric derived from the dataset.
